I am passionate about the stories underneath the words. I carefully craft the physical story that supports the structure of a play. I am a collaborative director, and I work with actors to unite a vision for the story with their insight and style. I find moments of magic in the ordinary and grounded truth in the extraordinary.
As a Director, I have helmed Sarah’ Ruhl’s Eurydice and Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses at North Broward Prep, directed a production of Anon(ymous) at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, collaboratively created and directed an original play as part of Hartbeat Ensemble’s Arts in the Park program, and co-created and devised multiple physical theatre pieces with Bated Breath Theatre and The Other Voice Company. I have taught workshops, courses, and coached students of all ages and have taught Directing courses to HS and Collegiate level students. I was the recipient of a 2024/25 Artist Innovation Fellowship from the Cultural Council of Palm Beach, where I began the initial work on a physically focused production of Madeline George’s powerful play, Hurricane Diane. And this year has seen the beginning of a company, Sea Change Collective, with my creative collaborator and co-founder Autumn Kioti Horne. I am dedicated to bringing diverse, contemporary stories the stage. I have an MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee.
